EALA Leadership Ron Burke President
As President of E.A. Langenfeld Associates, Ron Burke is responsible for directing the growth and development of EALA and its subsidiary operations, Langenfeld and TouchPoint 360, to insure that they continue to meet the current and future needs of clients and customers. Ron has over 28 years of industry experience and joined the Company in the role of Corporate Sales, Partner in 1990. He has also held the positions of Vice President Sales, Managing Partner and Executive Vice President, Executive Partner prior to taking on his current role as President, Executive Partner in 2005. Ron is a 1980 graduate of Ohio State University, and before joining EALA, held sales management positions with Owens Corning Fiberglas, Plaskolite, Inc. and Novi American. He is married and has three children.
Steven B. Henley Vice President & General Manager
Steve Henley, Vice President & General Manager, Partner, joined E.A. Langenfeld Associates in 1998. He has over 24 years of industry experience in operations and sales/marketing management, and prior to EALA, had worked for Chicago Specialty and Moen Incorporated. Positions held include Production Manager, Distribution Manager, Plant Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Director of Distribution, and National Account Manager. Steve received a BA in Economics from North Park University in 1985 and an MBA from the University Of Notre Dame in 2007. Steve is married and has three daughters.
Howard B. Schwedel Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Howard Schwedel joined E.A. Langenfeld Associates in 2000 in the role of Chief Financial Officer. He has over 25 years of financial and accounting experience, including positions with Universal Superabrasives, Inc. as VP of Finance & CFO for North American Operations, and with Wilton Corporation as Corporate Controller. He has a degree in accounting from Roosevelt University, Chicago, and an MBA in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management, where he also received the Kagen-Rollhaus Award for excellence in business planning. In January 2008, in addition to his role as CFO of EALA, Howard assumed responsibility for the strategic direction of EALA's service company, TouchPoint 360, LLC until the role of VP & GM for this business was filled by Gregg Morrison in May 2009. Howard is married and has two children.
Langenfeld Leadership Steven B. Henley Vice President & General Manager
Steve Henley, Vice President & General Manager, Partner, joined E.A. Langenfeld Associates in 1998. Dave Protz joined E.A. Langenfeld Associates in 1996 to open the Twin Cities, Minnesota, office, and as Partner, now oversees an extensive sales and service operation, supporting a diverse client/customer base in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa. He has over 30 years of retail sales management experience, and prior to his employment with Langenfeld, held a variety of positions with companies such as Farwell Ozmun Kirk, Bemis Manufacturing, and Design House. Dave graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, in 1976. John Weyant Business Manager
John Weyant joined E.A. Langenfeld Associates in 2001 as a Corporate Sales Representative, and since 2003 has served as Business Unit Manager - Ace Hardware. In this capacity, John is responsible for establishing and achieving profit goals for Langenfeld's Ace Hardware business unit, as well as performing corporate sales for certain key clients. He has over 24 years of industry experience, 17 of which came with GE Lighting in a variety of sales management roles. He graduated from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, in 1984 with a BS degree in Finance and Marketing. Gerry Mallon Business Manager
Gerry Mallon joined E.A. Langenfeld Associates in 2002 as a Corporate Sales Manager and currently serves as Business Unit Manager - True Value Hardware. In this capacity, Gerry is responsible for establishing and achieving profit goals for Langenfeld's True Value Hardware business unit, as well as managing the activities of corporate salespeople and sales associates. He has over 26 years of industry experience and held various sales management positions with GE Lighting prior to joining Langenfeld. He graduated from North Central College, Naperville, IL, in 1982 with a BA degree in Political Science. Gerry is married and has three children.
TouchPoint 360 Leadership Gregg Morrison Vice President & General Manager
Gregg Morrison joined TouchPoint 360, LLC in 2009, in addition to the corporate experience Gregg has amassed in more than 15 years with major corporations including Avis Rent A Car, Huffy Service First, Inc. and Davaco Retail Services, Gregg has also served as a consultant for DIRECTECH, Inc. and run his own consulting business. He served for two years as a Divisional Chairman of NARMS (National Association of Retail Marketing Services) and as a Chairperson for their 2008 Spring Conference. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois (Champaign) and his Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Gregg is married and has two children.
Matthew A. Zobian Director of Business Development
Matt Zobian joined E.A. Langenfeld Associates in 1996, shortly after attaining a degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Management from Western Michigan University. Over the last 12 years, he has filled various key positions in sales and merchandising management, based in the Detroit, Ft. Wayne and Chicago areas. Matt has an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and currently heads-up the New Business Development function for TouchPoint 360.
Perrin R. Stephens Director of Operations - Outside Services
Perrin Stephens joined TouchPoint 360 in 2006 to take on the role of Director of Hardware. He has over 25 years of hands-on retail management experience, having worked in the department store, office supply and hardware/home improvement channels. He was Store Manager at 14 different Home Depot locations in the Phoenix and Chicago areas. Perrin graduated with a degree in Finance from Arizona State University. He is married and has two children.
